DLC Executive Board

Valentina Muraleedharan, Co-Chair

My name is Valentina Muraleedharan and I am from Botswana, Southern Africa. I am a Junior Communication Studies and Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies double major here at Gustavus! Since my arrival to Campus, I have been involved in several different diversity organisations, as well as been a regular in the Diversity Centre. It has changed and enlightened my experience here at Gustavus drastically – engaging in dialogue about social justice and civic engagement on a daily basis. I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have a love for people, and I hope to share that with all of you!

Andrei Hahn, Co-Chair

Hello! I am a Political Science major, Spanish and Peace Studies minor from St. Charles, IL. I was born in Brașov, Romania. Before I was co-president of DLC I was president of International Cultures Club. I was a member of that organization for two years and I was also a member of M-Pact. I have participated in the Men’s Halftime Retreat for three years. I am also a Gustie Greeter. In Spring 2012 I studied abroad in Spain. I have also studied Buddhism in India during J-Term 2011. As DLC co-president my goal is to increase dialogue and community between member organizations and greater Gustavus.

I’m a senior PHILOSOPHY major here.  I am involved in IAWA, Building Bridges, the Gustavus United for All Families Movement and of course, am the Secretary of the DLC! In my spare time I enjoy shooting Andrei with my nerd gun, reading the Lord of the Rings, and I enjoy a good Bible study as well.  You will probably hear me before you see me, but don’t hesitate to introduce yourself, chances are I probably already like you.
